Oliver Davis is focused on the issues that matter most to District 7 families: strong public schools, safer neighborhoods, affordable living, responsible economic growth, and accountable representation. With proven local leadership and a heart for service, Oliver is ready to fight for solutions that help District 7 families thrive.
Strong Public Schools
Oliver believes every child deserves access to a strong public education, safe classrooms, skilled teachers, and the support they need to succeed. In the Statehouse, he will fight for students, parents, educators, and public schools across District 7.</
Farmland Responsibility
Oliver Davis is a defender of Indiana's farmland, emphasizing that agricultural land shouldn't be sacrificed without transparent public discussion. He opposes the Midwest Continental Divide Trail, which is a proposed bike and pedestrian path designed to link South Bend’s west side with Potato Creek State Park and North Liberty.
Data Centers: Transparency
Families are working hard, but too many are feeling squeezed by rising costs. Oliver will focus on policies that protect working families, support seniors, and make it easier for residents to build stable lives in District 7.

Meet Dr. Oliver Davis
Oliver Davis is a dedicated public servant, community advocate, social worker, and a longtime South Bend leader who is running to be elected to the Indiana House District 7 on November 3, 2026.
As a member of the South Bend Common Council, Oliver has served residents directly, worked on key committees, and helped address issues that affect everyday families — from neighborhood development and public safety to planning, growth, and accountability.
Oliver is running for Indiana House District 7 because he believes our community deserves a representative who knows the people, understands the challenges, and has the experience to get things done.
